Birthday Boy

I'm posting this a few days late, but Sept. 26th was Daryl's 25th birthday. We thought it would've been fun to take Daryl early in the morning on a drive up the mountians and see if any of the leaves had started to change colors. In the valley you can't tell if the colors have started to change. We started our journy driving up into the mountains. You could see patches of yellow and pink taking over the moutains. I love fall and Daryl does too because its a sign that winter is near. Daryl wanted to go skateboarding for his birthday. I thought it was silly because he goes almost everyday, but the birthday boy gets what the birthday boy wants. A couple of his friends showed up at the skate park and skated the day away. Lastly, our friend Jordan had a birthday a few day's before Daryl. Jordan was celebrating his birthday at his house and invited us to go. Daryl didn't know that we were going to put Daryl's name on the cake too. Jordan and his friends did that to suprise Daryl.Happy Birthday Daryl

Update

So much has happened in the last month. Taylor had her follow up from her surgery and everything looks like its healing proplerly. The Kidney on the left side had grown into two kidney's. One of the kidney's healed really well. The other one is still very swollen. The doctor said we need to do another follow up till the whole thing is good. Daryl and I started school part time. We've been working on Satch's clothing line for the season and the website. Daryl has been working at Earth Systems. He builds and cleans ponds.
My dad turned 50. Its very crazy to me. My dad doesn't look like he should be 50 let alone he doesn't even act like he's 50. I guess thats why he's such a fun dad.

Another update that I had to post, is we had a very fun Glenn Family Reunion. Its always so much fun to see my cousins and relatives and see how their family's have grown in the last 2 years. Finally, Zen has learned to Jump. So he just jumps, jumps and jumps all day. Taylor, on the other hand has learned to roll and wants to be mobile so badly. I don't know if I'm ready for it. We'll have to see whats next instore for our cute little family:)

Taylors Surgery

I know I'm posting this a little late, but I wanted to write this down before I forget. On July 27th, Taylor Belle finally had her surgery. As a mother you never want to see your daughter be in pain or have needles in her body. This just had to be done so things in her tummy couldn't get worse. One kidney had formed into two kidneys and because of the two kidneys it caused two tubes which of course run from the kidney to her bladder. At the end of one tube she had a membrain that covered the end of the tube. That membrain needed to get cut out because it was backing up fluids back up into her kidney. The other tube had problems with the muscle that lets the fluids out. That muscle wasn't working properly and was letting fluids back up the tube. I fought back the tears when Daryl handed her to the doctor, who goes into his office puts her to sleep (I know the name of the doctor I just have no idea how you would spell it). An hour and a half later the doctor, who worked on the procedure said that everything went well and hopefully this will fix the problem. I'm so greatful that the surgery went well. It was hard for me to not see my daughter herself. The next day Daryl and I were able to bring her home. Its so good to see her herself again. Its crazy to think that ever since she was born she has been on an antibiotics, to keep her from getting a kidney infection. I need to keep her on that til her next check up. Hopefully everything is okay. Taylor is such a happy baby that you wouldn't even know that anything is wrong with her. I feel so blessed to have not just one but two good kids. I pray and thank heavenly father everyday for the blessings he has giving me and my family.

Las Vegas '09

Last Week was are first family vacation together. We were able to play in St. George and Las Vegas. I was pretty bummed about Las Vegas. It wasn't like what it use to be when I was a little girl. Everything has gotten so scummy. I guess on a positive note, we did get to spend time together and with our time share we got a free vacation and $150.00 towards gambling, which in the end, ended up with almost $500.00.On the way there we stopped off at Fort Cove. Pretty cool to learn about the pioneer heritage.
When we stopped in St. George we apperently hit a butterfly perfectly smack dab in the middle of our truck.
While we hung out in St. George, our friends mom helped Zennyth jump on the tramp.
Zennyth on the Las Vegas BLVD.
Taylor, being held by Daryl in her blanket.
Where is Taylor??
I think the Belagio is my favorite on Casino.
Too much fun that it had worn both my kids right out Eating ice cream before our trip home. The picture of Taylor cracks me up.

Easter Ducks

I'm not doing very good at posting these blogs once a day. Especially if you have pictures from your camera and wanting to put them on your computer. I just had to post this video up. We have these ducks come over every summer and its fun to feed them bread. It was just neat cause the first time we saw them back this summer they arrived on easter. So much fun!

This last weekend was a crazy for Daryl at The Canyons Resort. The park at The Canyons was closed for the Nitro snowboarder team, only for a photo shoot to be on a cover of a magazine. It was fun watching the Kat drivers push the snow to make 75 ft. jumps and 20 ft drops. They had a log sticking out of the 20ft. drop. Everyone was thinkin this thing is nuts! At the time it was insane to think that people could do this. Once they had everything together it was time to test. Of course Daryl volunteers to be the tester. I was nervous for Daryl cause he had knee surgery this last summer and it takes a year for it to be 100% healed. Well come to find out not just him but his friends from the Canyons wanted to all participate in this event. Having your friends with you trying new events and learning new tricks pumps you up and makes it a whole lot more fun! It was AMAZING! They actually made it look so easy. Daryl was so comfident that it made me alot less nervous.
I thought it would be nerve racking to meet some of these pro snowboarders, but they are so nice. They made everyone feel comfortable and it just seemed like everyone was there for a good time just like us local folk. It was such a neat thing to see them do their tricks off of the 75 foot jump. It seriously is so different from seeing it in person than watching it on t.v. Daryl says "when you watch the event in person it pumps you up and makes you want to learn more tricks." Well, the professional snowboarders are going to be at The Canyons for a whole week. I look forward to watching more of their tricks and meeting new friends.

The Canyons Resort

On Saturday LIndsy and I went to The Canyons Resort to go Snowboarding. It was so much fun! The Young grandparents watch the two little one's while I was able to take Lindsy up the canyon before she left on her mission. The weather was definitly on our side. I was glad it was such a good day, not only for Lindsy for her last time snowboarding til she's gone for a year and half but because it was my first time up for the season after having a baby. I was worried that I'd forget how to snowboard but I love it how its just like riding a bike. This summer I was able to go up to The Canyons Resort to paint pictures on the Box features they place in the park for this resent winter. On this picture below I took this because I love the colors you see in the fall.
Same picture in the winter time:)

Daryl is on the bench on a hard days work. Lindsy is sitting on the log and our good friend Don workin hard as well.

Taylor at 6 weeks

Today was the first day Taylor started gooing...SOOO CUTE!

At 6 weeks old I can't believe how much they grow. To me its so much fun to see how Zennyth and Taylor look so much alike. Especially in this picture. Who would've known that having kids could be so much fun! I love being a mom.

This is a picture of Zen around the same age as Taylor. Well, I think they look alike:)
